How can teachers give feedback to
improves results of all pupils?

The Flemish Government asked the universities of Ghent and Antwerp to bundle the latest research. Then I used the magic of graphic design and illustration to make it so easy to understand every teacher wants to read it.

Dries D’haese explained all the research to me like I’m five.Their approach bundles 65 methods in 5 actions.

That’s a starting point. I drew icons for the 5 actions in 5 colours.

Every action is a step in the learning process.
For the logo, I came up with an arrow and reused the action colours as a from start to finish. But the learning path is not always straightforward, so why not add a playful looping.

Next, 65 icons for the methods.
You guessed it: I colour coded the methods by action.

The purple text of the logo acts as a strong base for the arrow.
All methods are based onthe latest research about how our brains learn.

So… where would you click to read about all this research?
Nope, I won’t spoil it.

And because details matter, I made separate versions of the logo so it highlights the correct action on every page.

The web wizards at Figure8 used buckets of polish to make my work look so much better on Proev.be then I imagined. Even if you can’t read Dutch it’s worth the click.
