Although I live in Antwerp now, I grew up in the ‘De Druivenstreek’. ‘Druivensteek’ means ‘Grape region’ in Dutch. It’s a beautiful region made up of four villages south east of Brussels where they grow tasty grapes in greenhouses. You really should visit it.
On the sixth of July 2019, the Tour de France started in Brussels and passed in Overijse (my hometown!) and the neigbouring village of Tervuren. I drew posters, designed a set of spot illustrations and made my biggest work yet: a huge 2,5 x 20 meters banner hanging in the city center.

I designed a folder as well, so the local councils could clearly communicate about when and where the cyclists would pass.
